Ballagroove Records is delighted to announce the debut release of Cocahiba’s EP: a massive 15 minutes of music is now on sale for a tiny four quid!

Runaway, by the way, was last year’s "best original song" in the local Island-wide competition dubiously entitled "Jewel in the Scene". Cocahiba consists of husband and wife team David (Kin) and Nicky Kinley. Nicky provides vocals and percussion while David sings backing and plays guitar.

Melodies are catchy and haunting, woven together by clean, confident and hypnotic vocals. This is not just guitar strumming and pretty lyrics! Cocahiba constantly surprise the listener with their intriguing blend of accoustic twists and turns. An EP with three tracks left us very definitely wanting to hear more! When’s the album due out?
